In the trail

The North Gate of Prague urban planning assignment deals with the north-eastern part of Prague in connection with Liberecská Street and its aim is to close the area through which the expressway passes. The main idea of the proposal is to resurface Liberecká Street before entering the town and then bury it in its original location and build a new wide urban avenue with tree lines and an active parterre. The proposal also envisages the preservation of the existing Střížkovská Street in its original location, which now takes the form of a valuable street.
