PORT LIBEŇ HOUSING

The subject of the thesis is the design of a residential building in Libeň Port in Prague, on the site of the current gardening colony. The design aims to create pleasant, affordable and at least to some extent sustainable housing in the ecosystem of a vibrant metropolis. Due to its location in the development site, the mixed-use residential building is designed to maximally support interpersonal interaction, increase the attractiveness of the area and add otherwise missing urban amenities, which will benefit the entire site, as well as the public courtyard and the design of public spaces in the immediate vicinity.
