KOLÍN, TERRITORIES-IN-BETWEEN

The royal town of Kolín in the Central Bohemian Region features diverse development structures and public spaces. This study aims to identify the ideal interface between existing urban development and the surrounding landscape. Structured into three parts, it includes an analysis of the settlement and its surroundings, an intermediate step proposing a green circuit for pedestrians and cyclists, and the actual design proposal for the targeted area. The project focuses on the urbanistic study of new construction in the southern part of the town, emphasizing the determination of the ideal interface between new and existing constructions, as well as between new construction, the bypass, and the landscape.
