THAT BROKEN PLACE CALLED ZENKLOVA - WHEN I AM IN NEED OF HELP- (ASYLUM ZENKLOVA)

I am arriving to Horní Libeň from the direction of Palmovka, and passing under the railway bridge is like entering another world. Beyond the bridge, I am greeted by empty lots, sidewalks made of various materials, garbage cans standing freely in front of houses and car repair shops at every turn. The place looks ungraspable, unurban and dysfunctional. The theme of the semester is asylum. An asylum for people. Help and safety. Perhaps this can work reciprocally and asylum, help, can be given to a place that undoubtedly needs help. The privatized space that is taken by the asylum and the home for the elderly, that undoubtedly need privacy, can be compensated for by a space with a more intense, dense plaza. After all, density and intensity may be exactly what Horní Libeň needs. Density of function, action and mass.
