Annotation

The new apartment complex, designed on the site of the current parking lot on Kostelní Street, completes the missing part of the city block. Kostelní Street is located north of the Elbe River and offers a non-standard urban lot with an atypical shape. The proposed apartment building will bring an impulse of new and modern housing and recreation in the centre of Nymburk, overlooking the St. Giles Church. The residential building offers a total of 8 residential units in the available layout options of 2+1, 3kk, 3+1. The design includes the potential of the site, which is located in the historical centre of the town. In addition to housing, the building offers the possibility of a pleasant sitting area in a cafe, and commercial space for a studio. The building reflects and respects the height of the surrounding buildings, thanks to which it fits into the environment and does not create an imbalance between the surrounding buildings. It is conceptually designed like other apartment buildings in Nymburk, thus fitting into the character of the town centre.
