Home for children and youth under the parking house

The revitalization project of the hall in the inner block in Žižkov focuses on the transformation of a former garage into a house for children and youth. The main wing of the hall with its vaulted roof and natural lighting through a skylight will be preserved as a central space. The adjacent side aisles, formerly parking stalls, will be converted into classrooms, workshops and clubhouses. Above the hall is a newly designed parking area that runs through the structure and forms part of the interior spatial arrangement. The proposal combines the retention of the building's characteristic features with new functions, creating a space that supports community activities and the development of local youth.
