Annotation

A waterfall connecting two height levels as a challenge for passing through an uncomfortable underpass on Tachovské náměstí. In our design, each of the levels is represented by a water level in tin vats, which are connected by a cylinder formed by thin streams of water. We thus connect the square coarse solid volumes of the massive bathtubs with a contrasting curve in a transparent water shower. Calm level of the upper surface at a busy bike path, a roaring shower awakening a dark passage. Corten sheet metal as the main material of the proposed water element complements the perception of the industrial character of the original railway line, which today vaguely reminds us of the railway embankment and concrete retaining walls.
