Connect with Nature Through Play

The project is located in Libeň, it is an island for children that is independent from the peninsula. The underlying philosophy of the project is for children of all ages, genders, cultures and abilities. Children can learn from nature through play, enabling them to make decisions, take risks, develop resilience and have fun as well as learn how to take care of plants and experience soft fascination. Sustainability principles are embedded with the island having its own crop fields. The zones are integrated with each other so that activities and ecological aspects of the island can support each other. The island encourages children and people of all ages to connect with nature through play.
