Senior Center Bělčice

The work deals with the design of the building of the center for seniors in Bělčice. The main theme is to create conditions for the functioning of the center as a place where seniors can spend their free time, study and live. The plot on the edge of the square offers the opportunity to create a pleasant environment so that clients have their peace, but at the same time are not aside from life in the center of the small town. The functional arrangement depends on who is using what places. Materially, the building tries to connect to the surrounding buildings in order to maintain sufficient access to light. The central point here is the courtyard, around which there are spaces where seniors spend most of their time.
