The Wave - swimming pool Lanškroun

The Wave, swimming pool, wellness, café in the city of Lanškroun. Organic form of the wave follows the wavy terrain on the plot. The wave is lifting up from terrain until it reaches the highest point in swimming pool hall. Lifted wave is creating space for roof landscape, for meeting people, for sightseeing, relax, for everyone, not just the visitors. The organic form of the wave is in contrast with design of the architectural form of the underground parking, which is very strict, cubic form. The building is sinking in the terrain, which gives the impression that the form on terrain is small, but massively noticeable building hidden in greenery with impressive entrance platform.
