Apartment building - Palmovka

The apartment building is located in the city part of Prague 8 - Palmovka. In the urban design for this project, there was an irregular five-sided plot at the beginning of the design. However, the resulting mass was too deep to fill with sun, but at the same time in its western part not deep enough to insert a possible yard. Therefore, in the final design I decided to use atypically long maisonettes with terraces in the right part which are balanced in the left part by one-storey apartments. Thanks to this the apartments are filled with more sun light. The sloping terrain around partly covers the adjacent south side of the ground floor with garages and from the park the building gives a more friendly impression.
