Foyer of the Philharmonic on Letná

Throughout this semestre I was designing the interior of Prague’s philharmonic on Letná, which I have projected during Civil Building project task. More specifically, I was working on the foyer’s arrangement, which guides the visitor into the world of music that resides in the music hall. The aim to create the atmosphere which is unusual to us on a regular basis. This highlights the uniqueness of the occasion of entering this rather different world. The purpose is symbolised by the material choice as well as components’ heftiness. The conception of the central lustre is shown in greater detail, explaining its organically shaped curve base with fan shaped elements.
