CITY ABOVE RAILS is a project to embrace a large “unused” area in the center of Prague, which is used only for train transport. The proposal is a new urban structure above the rails with a connection to the main station itself.
CITY ABOVE RAILS: Housing/sport is one of three buildings that connect the eastern part of the new urban structure. The building offers 8 ground floors connecting with the easternmost underpass of the main station. It connects the main station, the newly designed platform and parking level (one floor lower), Španělská street, and neighbour hotel.
