Botanicus Třeboň

The Botanical Garden is located in Třeboň near the historic center. The garden contains a collection of aquatic and wetland plants and is used mainly for scientific purposes. The garden has the character of a small specialized botanical garden and is open to students and the general public. The main activities of the Collection include the maintenance of endangered cultures plants, cooperation with nature protection authorities and botanical gardens in the Czech Republic and abroad. Furthermore, the Collection provides plants for research purposes and participates in environmental education.
