Open garden

The target area of this project is located in the area of Terezín's primary school. The city of Terezín is characteristic for its urbanistic structure defined by baroque fortification, creating its enclosed arrangement. The area of this project is located in the cadastral area of Terezín but only outside this fortification. This project called "Open Garden" therefore tries to achieve a connection between the city and this school complex. Moreover, it tries to connect the school building interior with its surrounding garden. The project tries to remove barriers and connects the city with the school complex by creating a community garden, opening the school complex not only for students but also for local inhabitants who can use the garden for their leisure activities.
