Living in nature. Magic catchword dragging us to the edge. To the edge of cities, towns and in the end even into the nature itself. Most importantly far from the city centre. This problem was brought up way too many times before by urbanists from all over the world. An edge between human residence, nature, "urban sprawl", huge distances...and that (just) because of the vision of the idyllic life in nature, near the pond with a sight to the nearby chapel under the cover of the large tree. One of the unintended results of this is "the space between". Production halls, gas pumps, car shows, natural greenery covered by plastic bags, muddy roads, torsos of buildings and surprisingly strong and wild vegetation which is taking back what once belonged to it. The Motol Valley is exactly this place.
