PARKing, Vyšatův lom

On the Mountain. Near the chapel. Behind park. Leave your car. Enjoy the city. Kutná hora and a modern tourism. For locals, theme number one. Given its location, history, and many monuments, Kutná Hora is becoming one of the most visited cities in the Czechia. The influx of visitors acknowledges the city, but it is also creating pressure on the neglected transport issues. The area— Vyšatův lomu—located near the Saint Barbara's Church, became a roundabout and tourist bus parking lot. We acknowledged those functions and created an area of full-blown parking. In case of less tourist load, part of the parking lot can also serve as a space for a summer cinema, theater, concerts, markets or ice skating in winter. Thus, the area of the car park becomes a multifunctional and variable space.
