The building is a response to the otherwise difficult usable desert landscape and famine in Ethiopia. The vertical farm provides "fertile soil" that remains resistant to devastating locust swarms. The sales are shipped with cargo drones, which can also supply war zones and protect the surrounding crop during the grasshopper invasion. A monorail provides food and staff transport to the three nearest towns. The whole structure is made up of many prefabricated parts, which are assembled on site. The construction process already determines the number of jobs and a bright future for Ethiopia.
