Bílina

The semester work deals with the regulation of the non-compact urban structure of the town of Bílina. The city is undoubtedly connected with extensive mining, but also the transformation of the country. The work is focused on reclamation and unique completion of the character of the former Bílina quarry. In the vicinity of this unique area is designed recreational, cultural and sports area. The proposed zone connects the landscape with the city, overcomes barriers in various forms and creates space for active and passive relaxation. The proposal indicates the new character of the vacant areas of the city and examines the possibilities of connecting its reclamation with the landscape. The weakened core of the city is located on the border of the transport corridor and river.
