Cake shop Laskominka

The Laskominka confectionery is located a few minutes walk from the centre of Lovosice in a low-rise building from the 1970s. The initial ideas for the design of the confectionery were based on this time period. The most striking element of the café is the ceiling, which is made up of a grid of "laskonka" that illuminate the entire space. The ceiling is designed in a bronze shade, with a metallic finish. The rest of the space is designed with the idea of drawing as much attention to the ceiling as possible, so it is designed in a muted dark burgundy colour, all the other surfaces are in a matt finish. A recurring feature is the round profile, which is used both on the two opposing walls and on the atypical furniture that the patisserie is equipped with.
