Alternative solution to sliding of the hill

The assigned project was the area of the slope below the town of Mělník. The slope to the river Elbe below the city is subject to landslides. This landslide threatens the retaining wall with the currently unused road, which runs down the slope from the city to the bridge over the river Elbe. The design shows the development under the retaining wall of the road, which would be part of the strengthening system of the slope, preventing further landslides and possible damage to the retaining wall. Sunlight and street comfort were important in the creation. Individual houses were affected by their potential for future use. The project also included a proposal for a transport connection to the road above the newly created street.
