Under Smíchov railway

I am trying to clean up, complete and calm down the unsightly situation of the Smíchov block, surrounded by the busy Strakonická and Nádražní streets. The building with an administrative function separates housing from the frequented Strakonicka Street and provides a quiet surrounding for the inhabitants. The residential part of the building is connected to it and its shape borders the adjacent railway line. The tenant parterre adds a proper liveliness to the space of the courtyard. The design, by its location and orientation, offers residents a unique view of both the busy and ever-changing railway and the quiet inner courtyard. It makes the atmosphere of the courtyard more pleasant, but at the same time allows one to be in contact with the runway and the surroundings at all times.
