Ján Vodňanský primary school

Eco and Industrial was the theme of my design of Ján Vodňanský primary school placed in neglected block in Holešovice. Living with nature is important in child development, so the school is enriched with natural dynamic. Materials ralate to Prague Prague district, wich is composed of mainly industrial building, so I used industral motives in neutral colors and green colored furniture and structures. The school has an atrium with extensive greenery accessible from the second floor and life takes place in contact with the atrium so that the child has visual contact with the greenery. The shape of the school is based on urbanism, which closes the locality.
