The Greenshade

The concept of gradation is one of the main pillars of the proposal. It is based on the gradation of the surrounding development from single-family houses, apartment buildings to high-rise panel buildings. The proposal dramatically transitions into a tower forming the skyline of the new downtown area. Smaller sections are also taken from the overall mass forming terraces and gardens graduating upwards to the tower itself rising above the three storey building. The location of the building is also one of the defining elements of the design, namely its proximity and sense of continuity to the adjacent Jalodvor Meadow Park. The design of the building seeks to replace the missing trees and vegetation that will be obscured by the new building, thus already irreversibly altering the views.
