Opening of Josefov

The concept of opening up Josefov to new possibilities works with the idea of showing possible solutions to work with such a bulky object as the square barracks. The main idea of the project is to open the courtyard not only to the residents of the city, but also to visitors and opportunities beyond the city limits. For one investor, the object is difficult to grasp, and with my work I am trying to show the possibility of collaboration between multiple investors. The new building of the cultural centre responds to the need for a multifunctional hall and thus creates a contrast to the layout of the barracks. The façade of the new building is made up of copilite, which makes the object intangible, its colour changes with time, sunlight, events and context.
