Trigono

The Trigono Theater is located near the Holešovice Market in Prague. The building is located on the banks of the Vltava. It is embedded in the ground on the side by the road. On the other side its tip protrudes above the water. The concept of the building is based on the shape of the nearby square, the shape of which is derived from the intersection of three streets. The shape of the triangle is found in many places of the building (floor plan, windows, auditorium). The building has two floors. The entrance is located on the top floor, from where the audience can go down, where there is access to the stage. The theater spaces are used for dancing. The facade is formed by a heavy perimeter shell made of concrete cladding, on which vertical aluminum cedars are laid.
