Bažantnice u Loukova - Community Centre and more

Bažantnice u Loukova lay in Stredočský kraj between Loukov and Svijany. It is a former hunting lodge and a part of a natural reservoir. The main aim of the project is to strengthen today´s use of Bažantnice. The designed complex consists of a community centre with a cultural hall, an accommodation for pilgrims, a restaurant, and a caretaker´s house. The visitors arrive by narrow path surrounded by an alley of trees, which covers the view of the complex. When suddenly they appear on a wide square looking out on all the buildings enabling them to get oriented. After passing the restaurant, which is the last object of the complex, the path becomes again narrow a gets lost in the woods.
