THE EXHIBITION PAVILION FOR THE SLAV EPIC - INTERIOR

Vitudanish Dara

Annotation

The work deals with the interior design of the Exhibition Pavilion for the Slavic Epic at Újezd in Prague. It is a set of seven town houses, in the attic of which the cycle of paintings by the painter Alfons Mucha called the Slavic Epic is exhibited. The pavilion is accompanied by secondary operations – a cafe and an auditorium, which are the subject of processing in the realization studio. The concept of the interior is based on the character of museum and exhibition gallery buildings – i.e. the building as a container in which an artefact is placed. Our box consists of walls, floor and ceiling. Artifacts represent equipment and furniture. While our outer shell will be strong and protective, the furniture and equipment will be softer and cozier.
