Due to its construction, the footbridge minimally interferes with the surrounding nature. The prestressed construction in the form of a clean line underlines the beauty of the Krkonoše Mountains. In the end, however, we decided to work with recycled plastic profiles. The ecological material is essentially immortal and is commonly used in Iceland and Scandinavia, for example. At the same time, it is used in the current construction of the railway, in the form of sleepers. The frets would be strung like beads on four threaded rods, separated by sheet metal spacers, and finally clamped together. The railing is subtle and airy so that it does not obstruct the view. The concept is characterized by a rational and elegant construction, as well as innovative materials.
