FORTIFICATION SYSTEM RING - LITOVEL

The fortification system ring in Litovel is full of gaps and unsolved spaces. The green belt that used to surround the historic centre has lost its original form and only tiny fragments of it remain. The aim of our project is to restore and reinforce this green belt with additional green and unpaved areas. As part of our manual, we also propose to improve the cities approach to the fortification system ring and to use surfaces and materials that are in accordance with the historic character of the town and the CHKO Litovelské Pomoraví. By doing this, we want to restore dignity and a refined appearance of these important sites and preserve and enhance their historical values.
