HOUSE WITH A CAP

The apartment house is located on a corner plot in the historical centre of Náchod. The building consists of one mass with a receding upper floor and connects to the gable of the neighbouring building. The original medieval walls are preserved on the plot, to which the apartment building responds with the material and colour of the facades. It also retains a contemporary green space for relaxation and recreation. The ground floor serves a public function in the form of two clubrooms with board games for children and the elderly. On the 2nd and 3rd floors there are two 3+kk apartments, the attic is occupied by one large 2+kk apartment with a terrace. The house blends in with the surrounding buildings. It is characterized by a pitched roof, the shape of which resembles a cap.
