Good plan? Petřiny! In my work, I get to know this Prague neighbourhood, which experienced its greatest development at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s during the construction of one of the first and most successful prefabricated housing estates. I walk through them back and forth, discovering what they are made of and how they are built, what their composition is, whether they have sufficient amenities or how they are served by public transport. At the end of my work, I compare Petřiny with selected neighbourhoods in various aspects, from housing density to areas with commerce, unpaved surfaces, to the financial intensity of building and maintaining a modernist structure compared to other typical Prague structures.
