Continuation. New Blatná center

This project is located in the fishing town of Blatná and harmoniously combines history with modernity. The project takes advantage of the existing street axis of the town and proposes a shift in the centre - introducing low-rise, mixed-use buildings.. A key element is the emphasis on green connectivity. The design integrates bike lanes, promoting green mobility and strengthening the city's recreational network. In addition, the project revitalises the old fishing area and turns it into a vibrant cultural centre that celebrates Blatná's fishing heritage. The new riverside park further enlivens the urban fabric, offering a peaceful retreat. The goal of Blatná's redevelopment is to create a cohesive, inclusive and sustainable neighbourhood and preserve its character for future generations.
