Apartman building Riegrova

This project is dedicated to the construction of a new residential complex on the outskirts of the centre of Náchod - a town on the border between the Czech Republic and Poland. The unique location on Riegrova Street gives the project a special character - the planned building occupies an important lot, is a kind of gateway to the historic centr The main objectives of the work were to create a functional building that would fit into the specific context of Riegrová Street, where the buildings are quite different in appearance, and to solve the most important problems related to the site: its size, which is out of the general scale of the street, and its location in relation to the sides of the light, which did not give sufficient sunlight to a sufficiently high proportion of the building.
