The residential building "U Ďolíčku" is a corner house in a new housing development emerging on an unused plot. The block of residential buildings creates an architectural barrier between a busy street and a tranquil inner courtyard, thus generating new opportunities for various activities. The main mass of the house is concrete with aesthetically and acoustically treated concrete cladding. To give the entire building a lighter impression, the ground floor is clad in wood and complemented by glass bay windows. Thanks to this material change on the ground floor, the main mass is lightened, avoiding a heavy material impression directly facing the street.
