RAILWAY STATION HAVLÍČKŮV BROD

The topic of this master thesis is the relationship between infrastructure and cities. The analytical part focuses on the typology of railway station buildings, their role and position within the public space. The subject of the design part is a location around the train station in Havlíčkův Brod. The urban and architectural goal of the design is to unite and clarify the location for people to easily move through. Apart from the station building the project also includes a new post office building, bus station and the adjacent public spaces.
