Libeň inner block

In this year's studio, I focused on the design of an inner block in Libeň. It was important that the inner block is open to the public and offers activities for all age groups. I placed a spacious playground on the northern side of the inner block, closer to the building with starter apartments. This playground is designed to satisfy to both the youngest children and the older ones. In the southern part of the inner block, closer to the residences for seniors, I decided to make it a little quieter. It is suitable for relaxation. Greenery is generously used throughout the area, especially due to its favourable impact on the microclimate. In the summer, it provides shade, and because deciduous greenery is chosen, it allows sunlight to pass through to the surrounding apartments in winter.
