SPICES³

Three objects, three functions. Work, culture, entertainment. The spice complex with the historic granary at its heart, located at the tip of the Říčany railway station area. My project complements the urban design with civil amenities. The historic granary has been cleaned of the additions that time has brought to it and its dominance is supported by new buildings of lower volume. The main axis of the area is terminated by a perpendicular building, around which a path leads to the underpass. The first building serves the co-working space. The granary is dedicated to the gallery. The last object provides a multifunctional purpose. The façade of the new buildings is sheathed in metal and the granary is permeated by the attribution of its material - brick.
