Student dwelling on the Vrcholického street

The student dwelling is located on the crossing of Vrcholická and Prachnenová streets. The building's form is made of two bodies, one alongside the street, and the other, rotated, as a responce to a hill, closing the backside of the site, and creating a closed, peacefull courtyard. Groundfloor is mostly of a commercial use, although, it contains a conferecnce/cinema hall for the local community, as well as a communal kitchen, where student may gather for events and socialize. Main facade is oriented north, with the courtyard gallery facing south, and into the hills. The metal siding sheets, used as a facade material, inhances the plasticity, created via balconies and windows.
