Can a residential building solve the shortage of parking spaces? Hořice, a town of sweet treats and sculptures, but also a place with a lack of job opportunities. Most residents have to commute to Hradec or Prague for work. This results in the need to own at least one car. Parking, although it may seem like a problem primarily in large cities, is also a challenge for the people of Hořice. The concept addresses the city's demand for housing while resolving parking issues by repurposing the ground floor for public parking. Future flexibility is a priority, anticipating potential decreases in parking demand. The open garage system enables transformation into offices or commercial spaces, adapting to changing societal needs.
