Cast Iron cake mold

Annotation

A return to tradition. Cast iron cake pans have been used for baking for many generations before us. Thanks to their high-quality workmanship and the durability of the material, they are often passed down from generation to generation. Nowadays, we often find silicone variants in stores, but I wanted to create a form that offers the combination of something new with a traditional material. The shape of the mold has a modern feel and cast iron conducts heat very well and evenly, so the cake bakes evenly from all sides. The mold includes two other components - a tray and a measuring cup. When folded on itself, it serves as a stand for the presentation of the cake. However, the measuring cup is also used to measure the amount of ingredients when baking. (See portfolio).
