FINAL STOP ST.

Tram depots are an crucial element of the urban ecosystem but they often occupy large prime real estate areas, which aren't open to the public. The project "Final stop St." gently augments the unused space above the roofs of the Pankrác tram depot with the help of a footbridge. This creates a new street with an avenue of trees and greenery, which allows for a pleasant entry into the apartment building. The house is protected from the noise of the Prague highway, creates a sense of security and is separated from the busy traffic of the tram depot. It has three floors, each with three apartments, two of which have access to sunlight from the east and the west. The material relates to the concrete structure of the depot, its blue doors and the use of tiles in the interior.
