Polytechnic station Třešňovka, Nové Město nad Metují

The three-storey building is located in the former military complex in NMnM. In the current proposal, the site has been transformed into a large cherry tree avenue interspersed with greenhouses, residential buildings and public facilities. The building extends the polytechnic facilities to the local schools, with classrooms designed for eight pupils. The greenhouses and gardens are mainly for educational purposes, but the space around them is open to the public. With its glazing, the building relates to the nature that surrounds it. On the first floor classrooms can be opened to the outside, they have the possibility of an outdoor learning. On the second floor there are classrooms linked to the equipment and on the third an experimental greenhouse with accompanying spaces.
