In today's world, the building of an automatic telephone exchange no longer has a use. Its most valuable element is the envelope, which does not need to be destroyed when considering a new function for the building. We have therefore decided to preserve it. Our design creates a public space inside - a square - a space that the estate lacks. Inside, we are inserting a scaffolding structure around the perimeter, which allows for greater variability in the use of the square. We create entrances from different sides for better accessibility and throughput. The space will be used for various activities and events for the public.
