Hut for hunters

Peace, nature, the smell of bark and rustling leaves... The lodge for hunters is located in the forests of Křivoklátska near the village of Skryje. This is an object using the slopes of the valley and the felled strip for the conduction of very high electrical voltage. The building serves as a base for hunters and their hunting or just to rest from civilization. Thanks to the close connection with nature and the inconspicuous appearance, it is possible to observe animals almost from the comfort of the couch. The cottage is made like a white bathtub from waterproof concrete. Its shape is close to a semicircle with windows in the form of embrasures cutting through to the surface of the slope. A skylight also provides enough light. A large elevated space functions as a community room.
