KING´S MILL : Reintroduction of the Roof

The aim of this project is to preserve the genius loci of the unique site, pay homage to the complex past life of the settlement, respond sensitively to the nearby nature reserve, and support the community of artists and hikers who frequent the site.This approach considers the site as a whole, and strives to make the site more accessible through minor intervention. Four of the six ruins will be preserved by adding roofs with the silhouette of the roofs as they would have been before they fell into decay.
