Community center Měděnec

Annotation

Měděnec is a picturesque village in the Ore Mountains in the north of the Czech Republic. It played an important role in the mining area, but the decline of mining in the 19th century led to a decline in population and the decadence of the village. This object is intended to be a meeting place and a symbol of regeneration, supporting the development of the local community and economy. The complex consists of three parts. In the first part there is a multifunctional hall, which is to become a new centre for events. The second part has three floors with a restaurant on the ground floor and rooms on the remaining floors. The last part includes a wellness centre for guests and residents. Each section opens onto a courtyard.
