ALONG THE RAILWAY TRACKS

The residential building along the railway line between Vršovice and Nusle offers urban living that integrates residential, commercial, and community spaces. The ground floor features commercial areas that support local civic amenities, a bike storage room, and a two-story community room for events and gatherings. The residential units begin on the second floor and are accessed via walkways, which in some areas transform into private extensions of the apartments. Each unit includes a loggia, designed to ensure brightness and a sense of spaciousness. The elevated inner courtyard provides a tranquil area with gardens and coworking spaces. I designed the façade using perforated metal panels, which allow for the regulation of privacy and light while giving the building a dynamic appearance.
