Vilémov monastery

The monastery with a brewery and accommodation for pilgrims in Vilémov with its location completes a block of mainly agricultural buildings. The front facade of the monastery seems inaccessible and dominant. At the end of the majestic wall lies a craft brewery as a part of the object. Together with the accommodation, it forms an architectural stop for pilgrims on the Via Czechia route. The monastery uses the surrounding environment to its advantage. The second floor is directly connected to the terrain. With its orchards on the south side of the building, it partially restores the former castle gardens. In the middle of the gardens there is a small church facing east and located on the axis of the main entrances to the monastery.
