The courtyard on Biskupcova Street is one of the largest in Prague 3. Since 1948, it has been home to a parking hall that was gradually and uncoordinatedly expanded with additional garages. Today, it accommodates approximately 130 parking spaces but otherwise feels empty. My design aims to return the courtyard to its residents, add more parking spaces, and introduce 12 housing units. I preserved only the skeleton of the hall, through which parking lifts, greenery, and housing units grow. Parking is solved using compact rotary systems, minimizing the footprint. The housing units – small studio apartments – extend beyond the hall's structure without disturbing the park below. The courtyard remains open on all sides, serving as a boulevard for meeting, walking, and living.
